Each month, Moody’s Analytics produces forecasts with a 30-year horizon and annual periodicity for all U.S. counties. The forecasts are based on a combination of state and metro area forecasts along with individual county characteristics. Controls are in place to ensure consistency with both historical patterns and the state forecasts.
