Each month, Moody’s Analytics produces forecasts with a 30-year horizon and quarterly periodicity for all U.S. metropolitan areas and divisions. Moody’s metro model system is designed to reflect each metro’s comparative economic advantage, to fully model the unique economic structure of each metro, and to account for the effects of macroeconomic assumptions and state forecasts on the individual metro area/division economies.
